Off to Mt. Lassen

My girl saw this while she was away at camp. She wrote about it in one of her letters, and I laughed, but didn't quite believe it until I saw the photo. Guess it gets hot out there.

We saw this the other day. What could they be talking about? Do they hang out regularly? Have deer always done this, or are these new behaviors? Maybe I'll find out on this week's camping trip.

Hi. . I"m from the flirty swap. I love these pictures!! We have moved some with the Highway Patrol and one small town we lived in had tons of deer. We joked that they would use the cross walks to cross main street because that is one place we saw them. There were deer that lived in a field across the street from us behind the homes. The daddy deer was born in that field and just never left. He formed a family. They visited all around us and would steal tomatoes off of the plants from those of us without fencing around the garden. They can bounce over the fences, but didn't to much with the gardens since there wasn't that much space inside. I miss them terribly. My youngest was 7 when we moved from that town and remembers the deer. LOVE the pics.
